ContemporaryBarossa Valley winery St Johns Road, is proud to announce a new distribution partnership with fast-growing sales and distribution business Pure Wine Co.
Amember of The Usual Suspects Collective (TUSC), St John’s Road Barossa has long been synonymous with crafting cutting edge Barossa wines styles. WinemakerJames Lienert’s focus is on bright, freshly coloured and full flavoured wines, albeit with an overriding theme of elegance and drinkability - ‘Modern BarossaValley Reds and Pure Eden Valley Whites’. In keeping with that ethos, the presentation of the wines underwent a significant overhaul in early 2020 to align the labelling with the wine styles. Jonathon Hesketh (Principal deb tholder at TUSC) says that the need for fresh, contemporary presentation was critical to reflect the modern Barossa wine styles in the bottle. “With winemaker James Leinert at the helm and the branding and wine style now aligned, Covid (somewhat ironically) gifted us the opportunity to pause and align our distribution arrangements. The team at Pure Wine Co. are a great fit for St John’s Road – not only for the brand and their portfolio, but also for the people and alignment in thinking. We’re more than confident that they’re the right partner to take St John’s Road Barossa to the next level.”
Based in Stirling in the Adelaide Hills, Pure Wine Co. operates throughout Australia, servicing both independent on and off premise outlets as well as the multiple national retail accounts. “Pure Wine Co is thrilled to welcome St John’s Road to our portfolio, and we look forward to working with the team behind this modern Barossa property and it’s wines,” said Pure Wine Co. CEO Casey Mohr. “A brand that showcases modern Barossa wines through flavours of elegance, style and longevity makes for exciting addition to the Pure Wine Co portfolio.”
